As many of you know I’m going through Professor Horners reading plan and it seems like I have gone through the book of Proverbs five or six times already, and every single time something else pops out at me. I was reading chapter 15 on New Years Day while pondering on the New Year (2013) and how I could do things differently this year from last year.
I was reading Proverbs 15:7, 8 and 9 and those three verses grabbed a hold of me and “BOOM” it hit me, that’s it, that’s my goal for this year, and they read…
7 The lips of the wise spread knowledge,
But the hearts of fools are not so.
8 The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord,
But the prayer of the upright is His delight.
9 The way of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord,
But He loves one who pursues righteousness.
- The lips of the wise spread knowledge.
- the prayer of the upright is His delight.
- He loves one who pursues righteousness.
Its something to think about for this New Year. Knowledge, Prayer and Obedience, those three things fit together like three peas in a pod. I want to help you get started with them this New Year 2013, I want to breakdown each point in my next few posts. Knowledge, Prayer and Obedience…
like three peas in a pod!
and that’s a beautiful thing!
Soli Deo Gloria
