“Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth…” Psalm 98:4

Through out this Hymn we can be joyful and see we have peace and joy until He comes again

Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world! John 1:36

Stanza one

Joy to the world, the Lord is come!
Let earth receive her King;
Let every heart prepare Him room,
And Heaven and nature sing,

The Lord came to save sinners… Paul said this in 1 Timothy 1:15 It is a trustworthy statement, deserving full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, among whom I am foremost of all. read John 1:9-13

Stanza two

Joy to the earth, the Savior reigns!
Let men their songs employ;
While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat the sounding joy,

y.

Psalm 148:1-14 cries out His reign over the earth
Isaiah 66:1-2 Heaven is my throne and the earth is My footstool.
Our response to what the Lord has done Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!

Stanza three

No more let sins and sorrows grow,
Nor thorns infest the ground;
He comes to make His blessings flow
Far as the curse is found,
Far as the curse is found,
Far as, far as, the curse is found.

Romans 3:23
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of GodRomans 6:23 says this For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Paul says we are spiritually dead without God Ephesians 2:1-5, 4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us

Stanza Four

He rules the world with truth and grace,
And makes the nations prove
The glories of His righteousness,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders, wonders, of His love.

Psalm 47:8 God reigns over the nations, God sits on His holy throne.
John 1:17 For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ. Romans 5:18-21

Ephesians 2:4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us.

Who’s us…. those who would believe… the names written in the Lambs book of life before the foundations of the world  Revelation 13:8 Revelation 21:27

2 Thessalonians 2:13 But we should always give thanks to God for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth.
